I call it a scallop squash.

This little beauty is called a scallop squash. At least for me it is. To others it may be known as patty pan squash, button squash or even white squash – although it also comes in green and yellow varieties. I am sure there are other names used around the world as well. Whatever the name may be, they are delicious and something I look forward to every year.

What do you call it?

I’ve never grown these… I guess I called them patty pan squash. From now on they will be scallop squash! Maybe next year I will give them a try:)
