Potato Projects Update: 4-18-14

My mom had such great luck with her potatoes coming up, that she had to separate them into more containers. Luckily, it seems as if all of them have survived the transplanting.

The red potatoes my mom is trying are shown below. While these pictures were taken a few days ago, they all have grown since then. In talking to her today, she is planning to add more soil to them today.

I have also added some more soil to mine. They grew so much in just the last few days!! I added about 4 inches of soil to cover them, but left the top few leaves uncovered so they could still get sun.

I can’t wait to see how this turns out! Get your Head in the Garden!

  1. Nice! I just planted five kinds in burlap-wrapped wire cages today. I am so excited!
